The composition is a decoration of Central Park and a favorite vacation spot for local kids. The sculpture is represented by two bronze figures, the foundation of which is hidden underground, creating the illusion that the roe deer are standing directly in the middle of the forest. This work was created by Estonian masters E. Kolk and M. Port.
“Roe deer” has its own interesting history, the fact that it is a copy of the work of the famous modernist sculptor J. Coort, which was cast in 1928. The original sculpture is in the Tallinn Museum, and there are several more copies, one of which can be seen in Tallinn City Park.
